Sign-in
Every Billpal account is protected with a second factor. When you sign in, you enter a 6-digit code from your authenticator app after your password. You set it up during setup. Instead of email and password, you can also Sign in with Google.Change your password
There’s no separate field for this in Settings. Sign out, click Forgot password? on the sign-in page and follow the link in the email. Billpal then signs you out on all other devices and disconnects any connected AI agents. If you’ve lost access to your authenticator app, write to support@billpal.io.Profile
You change your name, profile picture and app language under Settings > Profile.Activity
Under Activity in the sidebar, you see who did what in the workspace: new and changed documents and contacts, rule runs, exports, new members and connections. The tabs at the top filter by area. Download CSV gives you the list as a file.Take your data with you
You can export documents and contacts as Excel or CSV at any time, and the originals as a ZIP, see Exports. If you need a further copy of your data, write to support@billpal.io.Delete your account
1
Start the deletion
Go to Settings > Profile and, under “Danger zone”, click Delete account.
2
Transfer or delete workspaces
If you’re the account owner, choose Transfer or Delete for each of your workspaces. With Transfer, a member you pick gets the workspace right away with all its documents. With Delete, Billpal removes that workspace’s data.
3
Confirm
Type
DELETE and confirm. Billpal then deletes in the background and signs you out.Privacy
Billpal processes the data in your workspaces on your behalf. The details are set out in the data processing agreement (DPA). It’s part of the terms, and you can generate a PDF of it there for your records. In short:- The app runs in Frankfurt; inbox sync and portal sign-ins run on servers in Germany.
- Billpal reads documents with Google Gemini in the EU.
- With Gmail and Microsoft, Billpal only gets read access and never sees your password.
- Billpal doesn’t store supplier passwords for portals.
